Horoscope of union minister (state) Harish Rawat: what is the future?

Shri Harish Rawat, presently the union minister of state for parliamentary affairs, is the strong contender for the post of Chief Minister in Uttarakhand, provided that the result comes in favor of Congress (I) when the ballot box will opens on March 6, 2012 this week.  Harish Rawat is considered close to the Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi and have a very clean image of a hardworking politician. Because of this patronage from Gandhi family he  have an edge over other stalwarts, to reach at the helm of affairs of Uttarakhand in case Congress wins in assembly polls , from Uttarakhand like the opposition leader in the state assembly Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, Satpal Maharaj ( who is member of 15th Lok Sabha and famous religious guru of Uttarakhand) and prominent Dalit leader and President of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee  Yashpal Arya .

Harish Rawat was president of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress committee from 2001 to 2007 and was also instrumental, because of his excellent poll management, in the victory of Congress party in the assembly election of 2002 in the state. At that time in 2002 he had the support of most of the Congress M.L.A’s and was considered by the media, as well as general public, as the likely choice for the post of C.M. in the state but luck was not in his favor. The Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi than decided to reward, veteran Congress leader and iconic personality of Uttarakhand state, Shri Narayan Dutt Tiwari with the post of chief minister-ship, at the age of 76, for  his decades old loyalty towards Nehru-Gandhi family since the days of Indira Gnadhi. Narayan Dutt Tiwari had also been the chief minister of Uttarpradesh (U.P.) three times, during 1970s and 1980s,  but he was crestfallen in year 2009 when found indulge in a sex scandal during his stint as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh at that time.

The people must have seen Shri Harish Rawat as Congress spokes persons during the Lok Pal fiasco of December 2011 and at that time he was the key political personality who handled this issue in the media very delicately presenting the views of his party efficiently before general public. He also acted very smartly as Parliamentary affairs minister and bailed out his party from a  very dangerous and an embracing situation had voting on the Lok Pal bill would have taken place in the upper house of Indian Parliament (Raj Sabha) during the last forth night of December 2011.

Now look at the horoscope of this most  influential Congress leader from the state of Uttarakhand who is presently a union  minister of state but can be the next chief minister of the his native state if congress get majority in the assembly.

Harish Rawat was born in village Mohanari, near Chaunalia, Almora district , on April 27, 1947 to Rajendra Singh Rawat and Devaki Devi. He completed his B.A. and L.L.B from Lucknow University. As we know that for studying Law there must be a P.A.C (Position-Aspect-Conjunction) relation of the 5th, 6th, 9th and 10th houses/lords and the influence of planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. In the birth chart the sixth and ninth lord Jupiter is placed in the fifth house. The fifth and tenth lord Mars is in the ninth house receiving the aspect of Jupiter in turn. So the P.A.C of 5th, 6th , 9th and 10th houses/lords is very strong. You can also notice the influence of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars over this houses in the birth chart confirming the fact of his study of law. He studied law in the Vimshottari dasha of Mercury ( from 1964-1981) which is placed in the ninth house in the birth chart.

He first came into limelight in the national politics when he defeated the BJP veteran Dr. Murali Monahar Joshi in 1980’s general election , from the Almora Parliamentary constituency, which was dominated by Indira Gandhi’s presence and is know for his miraculous come back. It was his Mercury/Saturn (from September 1978 to May 1981) dasha in Vimshottari. See the position of seventh lord Saturn, seventh house is the house of public life, with lagan lord Moon. Saturn is also aspecting the tenth house in the birth chart and in Dashamsha it is strongly placed in the ninth house.

He was also reelected to the Lok Sabha in the general elections of 1984 and 1989. The maha dasha of Ketu (1981 to 1988) gave him study progress in his political career because of its present in the fifth house of minister-ship along with ninth lord Jupiter in the birth chart. Ketu is also strongly placed in the lagan of Dashamsha chart. But than came the maha-dasha of Venus (from May 1988 to May 2008) which saw ups and down in his career.

Venus is debilitated in the Navamsha and also in the conjunction of malefics like Saturn and Ketu. Venus is also the eighth lord of Dashamsha which gave him a downfall as  in contesting on Congress ticket, Rawat lost the Almora Lok Sabha seat four times in a row – in 1991, 1996, 1998 and 1999 General elections. In 2004 Lok Sabha elections, Rawat’s wife Renuka Rawat tried her luck but the fate was the same. This was all because of the  Venus maha-dasha he got (from May 1988 to May 2008) which is though exalted in the ninth house of birth chart but have just 22 Bindus in Ashatakavarga and also deblited in the Navamsah and having the lordship of eighth house in the Dashamsha had a bad effect on his political career.

However, the 2009 Lok Sabha elections came as a real surprise for political pundits when Harish Rawat, who originally belongs to Almora district in Kumaon, shifted base to Haridwar and won the election by over 1-lakh margin. This was all because of the magic of Sun maha dasha in Vimshottari (from May 2008 to May 2014) because of which Mr. Rawat got over 3.32 lakh votes to trounce BJP candidate Swami Yatindranand Giri (2 lakh votes) and Shahzad of the BSP (1.81 lakh votes). See the exalted Sun placed in the tenth house in the birth chart and it is also in the eleventh house of Dashamsah in his own sign Leo. The anterdasha was of YogaKaraka Mars (from Marcy 2009 to July 2009) which is strongly placed in the ninth house of Luck.

Since his miraculous victory in the general elections of 2009 he is the union minister of state and is  in the good books of media, general public and his party president Smt. Sonia Gandhi because of his clean  image and efficiency of managing ministerial work. Now at present his Sun/Saturn (from 7 April 2011 to 17 March 2012) dasha has also helped him to strengthen his public image as the honest minister and good spoke person for his party in the media. His next anter dasha of Mercury will be even better because of its placement in the ninth house of birth chart and also the tenth house placement of Dashamsha. In Chara Dasha it is Sagittarius/Taurus (from October 2011 to September 2012) which is also good considering the fact that Sagittarius, which is the rashi of ups and down, has the influence of Atmakaraka, Amatayakaraka and Matrikaraka over its tenth house. From Taurus all these planets are in the eleventh house of gains.

The most important thing is the double transit of Saturn and Jupiter are covering his 4-10 axis with good Ashtakavarga bindus. Saturn is also aspecting the natal Sun placed in Aries which promise a change in his career according to a “Nadi” principal, which would definitely be positive, taking him into the helm of affairs in the state of Uttarakhand if the Congress Party win the assembly polls there or he may also become the union cabinet minister any time before September 2012.
